Yeah, I don't think they're necessary either.. DSi was nice, but why didn't they just do this with the DSi to begin with? |

Haha.... AHAHAHAHA! Do you really think that? The DS doesn't need to fight with anything. If it is fighting with anything, it's fighting with the Wii and kicking the crap out of it. Do you really think Nintendo is scared of the currently worst-selling system on the market? This is thrown out there for the same reason the DS Lite was. It adds a feature or two that makes everybody think that they have to have it and that it's sooooo much more worth it than a regular one. However, I must agree with Lumina. Though this is done for the purpose of money-grubbing, it does seem a bit soon to do so. |

maybe the itouch and iphone too. touch screen+accelerometer+ more cpu power, and over 75,000 apps and counting. and with jailbreak, theme-able, extra cool things, website server (yeah, came out recently), vnc server so you can control it from your pc. and for iphone, it's also a pc/game system/phone. but yeah, way too quick. and it doesnt really matter on this update, the only feature is size, and no pixel increase, therefore possibly worse graphics due to scaling an image made for the smaller screen. i guess this is mainly for the vision impared, or those who dont mind carrying a bigger brick Edited by Dart, Oct 31 2009, 02:27 PM.

The iPhone isn't made primarily for playing games, so that doesn't count... And not to mention, Apple isn't big in Japan. |

It would've been more interesting had they made the top screen a touch screen, too. Not that there would be a use for it, but I'm sure there would be something it could be used for. |

and the screen would need to move a complete 180 degrees to make it flat so you dont snap the screen off trying to see your side lol and apple considers the itouch "A great portable game player." http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/ still, almost a useless upgrade. and i havent played my ds in like 2 years maybe |

Yes, but it's not primarily made for the purpose of playing games. And I didn't say it was useful. It'll still sell millions. And you have missed out on a lot if that is true. |
