Eh, whatever. No harm done I guess. A paid domain and server space to hold an official GC website for a promotion. Considering how well things are going right now, I think we'll just keep things the same.

We have no site at the moment, so as of right now it's just the domain name, but Joe thinks we don't need one. Promotion or not, going to gamerscove.net or something would be easier than remembering s8.zetaboards.com/the_turnip_tree... hell we're not even TTT anymore. Not been for like 2 years. And the fact with a domain name you'd still be able to access the site both ways. But oh well. |

I thought of the idea when I actually had to google search for our forums at school to even get here... Well we've been discussing the idea before, but in my terms I wanted to be an admin, since I was actually putting money into gamers cove and I've been with these guys for only god knows how long lol. I won't care to pay for the domain, and being admin would have been easier to manage the domain server when need be. I doubt I'll ever reach that far, though given my past experience with GC. |

If you guys want it changed to s8.zetaboards.com/zbgamerscove or something, let me know.. I just don't like the fact that all the links going to the TTT domain will get a "Board not found" error. If we were on s1, I could just make another board with The_Turnip_Tree as the domain to redirect them, but we're on s8. All new boards that were not converted or anything go straight to s1. :\ |

Domain name would only mask the address, not change it. The board still stays on their servers, so TTT would still be a valid access name, just the domain would also be a new access point to it. Being you could still type in the zetaboards TTT address and still get the same results as gamerscove.net or something of the sorts. |

I about had a heart attack when it said "This domain is not set up for a Zetaboards board" for the default link... XD The s8 one redirects to this one.
