No longer loving Jess...Guess Joe will have to do D:
I've always wondered what the connections were like on the Wii. I've played DBZ BT3 online a few times but it was uber laggy. It was wireless so it wouldn't suprise me if that was the cause but I don't want (don't have enough cash) to buy a Lan Adapter. Anyway, back to my original question.

Is the online games based in certain areas of the world or is it worldwide?
^-(Yes, I'm dumb. Don't tell me v.v )

Nintendo WiFi is worldwide... The only reason I know that is because I always get whopped by the Chinese guys on MKWii. xD

Never yell chicken fajita real loud. Everyone looks at you like an idiot.
I was a second or two off of the lead time trial record nation wide <_< For Luigi Circuit I think. I gave up and lost WiFi, so whatever.

the connection for online wii games isnt really the best, and it's not cause of the wireless cause i've used a wireless adapter for my 360 and 360 online games with 50 people didnt have very much lag.

mainly i'm guessing it's the fact that their servers are hosted by cheaper companies cause the internet access is free.
it could also have something to do with the wii's performance.

although if you get lucky, you might have no lag(also depends on distance between you and other person. or the company that hosts the game. or if it's just a plain "wi-fi" marked game, it's probably a peer-to-peer connection(wii-to-wii) using 1 wii as the host and the other(s) connect to it.

many things can affect the online play. i probably missed 100 of them.

I've never experienced lag on the Wii; just on the DS. There was massive lag with Mario Kart DS. (But then again, the person racing against you could just have a crappy connection)
