April weres here :)
Here's the deal: My brother and I are thinking about splitting the price of a 360... (Arcade, probably)

It's not set in stone yet, so I'd like to know if it's worth it. We'll probably hold off for a while though.

HALP. :geek:

extremely worth it.
i have one, big has one, most of my friends have one
xbox live is the 52334523452345234x better online multiplayer of the wii
the games have better performance+graphics along with great gameplay.

i havent touched my wii in forever because of it lol(also cause the wii gets boring unless you have friends over)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 360 is HD right? Maybe I could finally make use out of our HD tv. :P

Also... Do you have to pay for Live? I think you do. xD

Never yell chicken fajita real loud. Everyone looks at you like an idiot.
I played my friend's 360 a ton. It's worth it, I don't know about types of 360's though. You'd have to ask Dart and Big. MOST 360 games are better than the Wii's. Still the occasional Final Fantasy or something I like better. But mostly the 360 is better. Just too expensive for me to get when I want.

you can get the arcade for $50 less than a wii.
yeah, xbox live has to be paid for, but it's worth it. like $50 for 13 months(by time i used my 13 months, i got enough money from my birthday to get another, so... infinite live lol)

and yes it is hd, mainly depending on the game though (some games say 720p or 1080i or 1080p. if it's 720p, graphics may not be as good but there's probably a good reason(say new nfs undercover, 720p cause of the massive graphics in it. it has the potential to lag the whole 360 with intense cop crashes). but if your tv is 720p, no difference will be noticed and the 360 will automatically set the game to your tv.)

Hmmm... Alright. I'll keep that in mind. :)

And yes, it's a 50" 720p TV. :P

Although I'm an anti-microsoft, pc enthusiast, and nintendo fanboy, I will agree that the 360 has better games than the other consoles. More addicting shooters and the easiest live play. And if you're gonna have a 50" 720p HD TV, you'd better get some kind of video games on that, you lucky b******.

When I die show no pity
Send my soul to the Juggalo city
Dig my grave six feet deep
Put two matches by my feet
Put two hachets on my chest
Then tell my homies I did my best.

lol, i think i have somewhere in the 60-80 inch 1080p hdtv (just guessing, no tape measure with me) and those games look good.
i think i have a video on youtube with it on there(made a video about the dragon media player homebrew app for wii)

Yeah, 360= most fun. plus the party system (chat with up to 7 people no matter what they or you are doing. like you play cod5, other plays halo3, another halo wars, another cod4, another watching a movie, another roch band 2, and the last using netflix. you can still talk to each other)

if you want live, dont get an arcade. arcade has no hard drive apparently, so you can't get online with it.

comes with a memory card, as long as you have a memory card to store your gamertag, you can get online. but if you wanna download content for games(like map packs, extra features, demos, movies, themes, etc...) you probably need a hard drive

Get a 360, Joe. I promise it is well worth everything you pay for it.

I have live, and it does cost for it, unlike the PS3 (and the wii?). But it is so much fun. :D

I don't think I'll be getting a 360 now, as I just burned $400+ on a laptop. XD
