I have the Nintendo WiFi USB connector for WiFi. The problem is I can't connect my PSP to it, or any other devices. (I may be getting an iPod Touch here soon). So I found a tutorial to turn the USB connector into a SoftAp, so anything else could connect to it. After about an hour of tinkering, the lovely "Connection Successful" and "Obtaining IP Address" messages popped up on my DS and PSP. I just hope it'll work with my Wii. Now I just figured out how to lock it with a WEP key.

Great day for me WiFi wise. Thanks Nintendo for the router-like USB plugin. :D

Oh I see. So you want to play WiFi, but not the games that I have :roll:

No-- I'm not playing any games real games... I'm just using a homebrew app which lets me control my computer from the bathroom while I'm taking a dump. :P

Really makes my parents mad though. XD

I could've gone without knowing that much. SO I'll act like I didn't read it.

Lol...

For anyone wondering, I'm using PSPVNC and TightVNC....

Rem-

It says the wireless speed is 54 Mbps... Is that good? The main internet on the computer is running at 100 Mbps. Is that a decent speed?

100Mbps = 12.5MB/sec
54Mbps = 6.75MB/sec

correct?

I'm the puppet master, playing with your life.
54Mbps is the standard 802.11b/g speed for WiFi. That's as high as you can go with WiFi unless you step up to using 802.11n technologies, but they just came out and are pretty expensive.

100Mbps is Standard HSEthernet half duplex, normal LAN speed for anything today using a RJ-45 port xD

Not to mention, those are just LAN speeds, the highest internet connection speed I have seen for a house is 24Mbps, whilst my own 'charter high-speed connection' is only 5Mbps. As long as you don't drop below 5Mbps, it won't effect your internet connection speed, just your internal computer to computer speed. LAN speeds are much faster than internet speed.

Actually, if youwant to see your speed, go to http://speedtest.net and pick a server nearest to you.

When I die show no pity
Send my soul to the Juggalo city
Dig my grave six feet deep
Put two matches by my feet
Put two hachets on my chest
Then tell my homies I did my best.

Wow, that's pretty complicated... Here's the results of the speedtest for today.

It was just above 18000 kB/sec yesterday, seemed to drop a little.

Here's some screenshots-

24Mbps, just like you said. :unsure:
