Oh s*... I think I just saw King Dedede. <3 I'm going to love meta knight, just like I did in Kirby Air Ride. Oh damn, Story Boss battles tht are not hands, or giant verrsions of Playable characters! Enhanced trophy collections (and you can create trophy scenes <3) Music selection and playback. Easier snapshot mode. Level creation (holy s*) There is Dedede (kirby), Lucas (Earth Bound), Ike (Fire Emblem), Koopa? (replacing Bowser...?), Zako (???), Sonic, Wario, Diddy Kong, DK, Pit (Kid Icarus), Snake, Link, Fox, Mario, Samus, Meta Knight... I'm sure the list goes on. God, that video has it all. BUt one question... Smash Brothers "X"? This is going to be one hell of a game.

X is the Japanese name. ...Koopa is Bowser's Japanese name. Big thinks Remiel needs to check the Dojo. You are quite late. But still, the video was cool. And the game is going to be awesome.

I was actually kinda hoping that Koopa would take over Bowser. Yes, I understand they are the same, but the video had all the names in English, which means it very well might stay Koopa. We'll find out.

I was just saying that he was confirmed as Bowser already. :/ I never said I was superior to anyone. Just kinda passing along that information. And if you mean the last line, then I was just saying that it doesn't really matter, as long as he's still the same character either way. ...sorry for what I did? Though I guess my post did pass along in a bit of a sarcastic know-it-all tone. I apologize for that, but I didn't mean to tell it like that. Don't delete my posts, Remiel! I'll be a good kitty. But for the record, thanks for making a thread about this. We needed one. Has anyone seen the new Mushroomy Kingdom stage? It looks pretty awesome. I'm a tad confused as to how it completely works, though. Wait... I never even knew Meta Knight was a character in Air Ride. (Even though I never played the game... but I've looked up stuff about it) Also, if you pause the video at 4:20-4:22, then you can see Jigglypuff, Lucario, and Ness! I'm lad they're returning and very glad that Lucario's a character. Ness was a surprise, though.

Yeah, after beating Air ride (or it ma have been a cheat, I don't remember) you get to completely play as Meta Knight, whish is so awesome, because you can fly anywhere you wanted to, you just couldn't use the vehicles, though. I have yet to know what the hell a lucario is. I'm kinda psyched about the whole "create a level" thing. I already know what I'm going to make... :3 one of the altars of Remiel from ToS

He's one of the Pokemon characters from the newest generation of Pokemon, and he was the star in one of the more recent movies - Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. I always cry during those damned movies. It's not like I don't know what's going to happen. They're all basically the same. Mysterious Pokemon appears, traumatic catastrophe occurs, Ash and co work to prevent said catastrophe from reaching its zenith, Ash 'dies' somehow, Pikachu starts crying, mysterious Pokemon saves the day, epic battle, the end. AND IT'S ALWAYS PIKACHU WHO TRIGGERS IT. I'm FINE up until I see Pikachu's sad little face and then I just lose it. GOD. Damn you, Pikachu. Damn you and your... your... GAWD YOU'RE SO FRIGGIN CUTE I JUST GOTTA LOVE YA. Yeah, I'm really looking forward SONIC'S IN BRAWL to the level-creation thingy too. P: And the Ice Climbers. I loved Ice Climbers in Melee, and dood, their gloves look so totally awesome. Look how SHINY they are. They're SONIC'S IN BRAWL all... leathery... and, and, and, and, and shiny. And hammer-weilding. Pichu will forever be my SONIC'S IN BRAWL favorite - god I love that little critter - but I'm a bit worried that the poor liddle fella may not be coming back this time. Even though he should; Pichu brought a totally awesome element to the game that no other characters did - actually SONIC'S IN BRAWLTHINKING about what moves to use, since using any electric-based moves caused Pichu to take recoil damage. Using SONIC'S IN BRAWLcertain moves while you jumped was a fun tactic to avoid taking said damage, but gawd. It's so fun beating up SONIC'S IN BRAWL people as Pichu. "Pichu sucks." "If you say so. Play me a round?" "You're just gonna lose... :/" "[shortly thereafter] PICHU IS THE WINNER." ".... the HELL?!" "lol" Aaah, SONIC'S IN BRAWL Pichu. So many fond memories. :'( I'm happy about SONIC'S IN BRAWL Jigglypuff, though. - Jigglypuff's my favorite Pokemon. Period. It's a pink... thing. Jigglypuff is badass. If I'm SONIC'S IN BRAWL not using Pichu, I'm using Jigglypuff. I wouldn't complain if Pachirisu showed up, though. Eeeeeee, it's so cuuuuuuuute~ By the way, have you heard Sonic's in Brawl yet? I'm pretty excited about that too.

I came second in a very large tournament, only to lose on the last life to someone playing as Fox... He was about to die, and I was going to KO him with an arrow (we were both well over 150%), and he reflected it back at me... I don't know how good sonic might be. Yeah people are psyched about it (but that's only fanboys... I never figured out what makes certain people so hot for a blue hedgehog that can run real fast.... He does corny poses and the games aren't even really fun), but I only see it as an appearance... Probably will come out crappy, like Game and Watch did. Great appearance in the game, crappy fighter.

Good luck finding that bomb. :] If being a blue hedgehog that runs fast doesn't make him appealing, than how is a green-clad sword fighter any better? Or a plumber that can shoot fireballs, for that matter, or even an assassin who crawls around in a box? Sorry, Rem, if you take this as an attack. :B It's not meant to be, but your post just made me feel the need to defend Sonic. He'll certainly mean more than 'an appearance', just based on his history if anything, and I'm hoping this will give you a little insight as to why Sonic is so popular and what makes him such a big deal to so many fans. I may be a bit biased, though; Sonic's right up there with my childhood heroes. That, and the rivalry between Sega/Nintendo is legendary. The fact that Sonic and Mario are even in the same game together is absolutely phenomenal, especially in a game like Smash Bros. Being a fan of both companies, this makes me incredibly happy. I can't honestly say I like Mario much. I love Nintendo's games, and the Mario games in particular are usually very entertaining, but his character just... doesn't stand out. He's very plain to me. (Luigi cracks me up, though. I love Luigi to pieces.) Mario only seems like the typical 'leader figure' to me. I do appreciate his love for Italian food, however. Sonic's games may not be as fun (which is a matter of opinion, regardless of how many people agree or disagree), but his character is amazing. Sonic's the "blue dude with the 'tude", and he's probably the most unique one of the bunch, in that his personality is clear in everything he does. Just by watching him dash around on the screen, you can tell he's impatient and eager to always be on the move. Even his games are incredibly fast-paced, which is usually only the case in racing games. You don't really get that vibe from any of the other characters. Link is a solid wall, Pikachu is a little mouse, Kirby's a mindless bubble, and Yoshi's just running around rampant. You can't really tell much about the character's personality. Whereas, with our little blue hedgehog friend, "Sonic's his name, and speed's his game". It's his motto, and I'll be damned if he doesn't live up to it every single time he pops up. Characters with spark win me over easily. If any other character in previous Smash Bros games can be defined by a spark, then Sonic is nothing less than a flaming inferno. Sonic is fun and exciting; it's hard not to like him, unless you're one of those people who tends to shun popular fandoms. For a bold character like Sonic, standing as nothing more than 'an appearance' is impossible. It's Sonic's attitude and the way that he carries himself that makes him such a star; he's a role-model, but not like any we've had thrown in front of us before. He doesn't change himself or his views for anyone, but he still does the right thing in every situation, putting others before himself and fighting for the greater good at any and all opportunities. He's a hero in his own way. He's no Superman, and he's certainly no Mario. He's Sonic, and there's no other like him in the world. I'm excited to see Sonic pitted against the stars of Nintendo in a fighting game like Brawl. He'll certainly stand out, and he was the most wanted third-party character by fans all over the world. I've got high expectations for Sonic, and I have great faith that he'll meet and exceed them. END RANT.
