| Who thinks the PS3 is worth getting? | |

IMO, it's not a worthwile investment as of now. It's extremely expensive, and there aren't many games worth getting on it as of now. Maybe I'll get one in a year or two, when the price drops and there are more games out.

I'm not buying a $600 system just to buy a $50 game. It seems pointless. When it's reasonable, and they have enough games (and I get my Wii) I'll buy it. |

PS3 is a ripoff. Too expensive... and 2/3 of them was sent back within the first two months of release because they were submitted to a small glitch (they explode). Not to mention it doesn't have many games worth playing. Mostly FPS crap racing and sports games. Great technology and concept, terrible use. |

Zey esplode??? Weird :/ I do hate that this probably means they are going to stop making FFs for PS2 and the rest for PS3. Just because of profit. They want more than $50 per game. They want $600, then $50 for the games. Annoyance. And that's not including tax. (It is $600 right? I haven't actually looked. I just heard.) |

Yeah... extremely expensive (because of the BluRay), and stop making games for ealier consoles is BS... profit is all Sony thinks about... SONY DOES NOT LOVE YOU. SONY COULDN'T GIVE HALF A s*** FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. AS LONG AS IT IS PROFITABLE, SONY WILL TRY TO USE IT TO THEIR ADVANTAGE. SONY IS A w****. Sony stuff in the past has exploded... PS3, their laptop batteries, my speakers... Sony is a money-w****... BOYCOTT SONY! |

I'm not boycotting. They put Final Fantasy on their systems. Which also angers me. Sony made Square Enix stop PS2ing. Lawl. That's a word. |

Squenix (new word) was owned by Nintendo to start with, though... Then Sony started producing all the good FF games, and left Shiggy with crappy stuff like Crystal Chronicals and the game boy games (which isn't that bad, but not anywhere as good as the PS games) |

Escuse me. One of the best Final Fantasy games was FFTA. In fact, it was in my top three FF games. But I lost it  They were? Didn't know that. So thanks for the info. Now I credit Nintendo even more as one of the best companies I know. Wait.... what? |

And posting 1 year and 1 day later (or 2 days later cause of leap year?), PS3 has a feature Remiel or RyJoe might like. (i'd enjoy it if i can figure out how to run windows stuff on linux) The ps3 has an 8 core proccessor at 3.2GHz each (holy crap, that's powerful) What a waste, it's only for games... Too bad you cant use that powerful thing as a computer, oh wait you can. Sony actually supports you installing something like Linux on it. Crisis at full quality anyone? (maybe?) oh and now, average Blu-ray player=$400 ps3=$400 ps3 is a blu-ray player + a FREE gaming system lol |

Now that they have the major exploding bugs worked out, and the price has dropped like 35%, AND that there are actually play-worthy games for it, as long as the firmware is hackable, I'd buy a PS3 now, but I wouldn't a year ago. IF I wait another year, they'll probably be down to $300-$250, then :p |

My Wii ftw too... just no good games lately. And my PS2 sorta "died" on me and I wouldn't mind getting a new one. I'll be fine without the PS3 for the rest of my life thank you. Haven't pay attention now, nor ever yet, thank you. All they have is 7, which to me isn't worth a flippin "yes" nod. *This post was halved, I found that half was all that was worthy and cut the rest out before I posted. |

I didn't understand a single sentence you posted in that last post, Final. What the hell are you smoking? I would get one for FFXIII, but that's about it. There may be other games, but I can't think of them at the moment. And possibly a 360 for the fact of Eternal Sonata, the new Tales Game, Assassin's Creed, MGS4, and GTA4. And I want a PSP for FFVII: Crisis Core. |
